Locked Out? Tell Us What Happened.

If your keys are inside, missing or no longer turning the lock, it helps to know what to do next. Coast Locks & Auto provides mobile assistance for emergency lockouts on the Gold Coast, covering homes, commercial premises and vehicles during our listed trading hours. We can discuss the type of lock, what has happened and the available approach to regaining access.

Call 0493 153 223 and share your location, the kind of door or vehicle involved and whether you still have a key. Please do not force a door or lock while waiting, as that may cause damage. If your keys have been lost rather than left inside, we can also discuss whether access changes may be needed afterwards.

What To Expect When You Call

Our team will ask a few practical questions before arranging assistance. For a vehicle, make and model details can help us understand the locking system. For a building, it helps to explain whether the problem is a misplaced key, a faulty lock or a door that closed behind you. A locksmith may need to confirm you are authorised to access the property or vehicle.

We work to restore access using an appropriate method for the lock and situation. If the key is lost and someone else might have it, domestic rekeying or commercial rekeying can be considered after entry is restored.

Our listed hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We do not advertise a 24-hour service. Call during these hours to discuss availability and request a free quote.

FAQs

Explain the location, whether it is a home, business or vehicle, the lock or vehicle type and what happened to the key. This helps the locksmith assess the situation.

A qualified locksmith may be able to open a suitable door using professional entry methods. The correct method depends on the lock and whether it has other faults.

Not always. If the missing keys could identify or access the property, rekeying compatible locks may be appropriate. A locksmith can explain when replacement is the better option.
